New Year is a wonderful time to let go of the old and bring in the new. It’s a great time to focus on your goals, visions and dreams. If you want 2019 to be all that it can be, I highly recommend doing this New Year ritual which I do with my meditation group each year. By doing this New Y
ear ritual, you bring healing, conscious awareness and conscious intention into 2019. By resolving any challenges you experienced in 2018, you’re creating a clean slate for 2019. By creating conscious intention for 2019, you are becoming a deliberate creator. However, don’t forget that you are CO-CREATING, that is, creating in cooperation with the Divine Source. Don’t let your ego go it alone, because that creates an over-attachment to an outcome which can then create a sense of lack and misery. By co-creating, we are asking for what we want, we can work towards what we want, but we’re also surrendering and trusting in the Divine Source to deliver our vision to us.
If there are things you’d like to manifest and they’re not being created, know that the greatest blocks to manifesting what we want are these five things:
- Low self-worth – we can only ever create what we feel we’re worthy of
- Unforgiveness – creates toxic emotions which prevent us from feeling love
- Lack of gratitude – creates a lack mentality from which nothing can grow
- Lack of clarity – if we’re not clear in our minds, we can’t be clear in our creations
- Not detaching – and therefore not allowing the Universe to orchestrate in its own unique way.
You may have heard me talk before about the ORIGINAL DIVINE BLUEPRINT. This is a blueprint that is already present within you. It is you living your life to its full potential – in love, in abundance, in success and in good health. It is the original plan that your soul agreed upon this lifetime and encoded into that plan are challenges and lessons. In order to evolve and transform and come into alignment with our original divine blueprint, we must face certain challenges. That is why challenges are inevitable and will be inevitable throughout our lives. We actually need them. Without challenge, we don’t grow into our full potential. So accept and welcome challenge! When the lessons from that challenge have been learned, we “upgrade” into a higher and better version of ourselves.
And just as gain is a part of life, so is loss. Our ego loves the gains and hates the losses but we must let go of the old so as to bring in the new. In Divine Law there is actually no such thing as loss unless we believe in loss. There is the Universal Law of Replacement – and when we understand this law, we know that whatever we lose will be replaced with something the same or better. Gain is no better than loss. Each are like two sides of a coin. And just as there is no such thing as loss in Divine Mind, there is also no such thing as gain. Know that to gain anything, you will have to let go of something else!
NEW YEAR RITUAL – RESOLUTION AND INTENTION
In a journal, exercise book or piece of paper write the heading CHALLENGES AND LOSSES OF 2018. Contemplate and write down your biggest challenges and any losses that you experienced in 2018
Sit quietly and ask yourself the following questions:
- In what ways am I being challenged to grow because of this problem?
- How have I become a better person because of this problem?
- How could I become a better person because of this problem?
- Are there any old beliefs or thoughts or ways of being that aren’t serving me anymore?
- Can I let them go?
- Is there anyone I need to forgive?
Be willing to forgive anyone, including yourself, otherwise your heart hardens, love stops flowing and that won’t ever help your creative abilities.
Picture anyone you need to forgive and say the Ho-Oponopono Prayer.
I’m sorry – I’m sorry for withholding love from you and for judging you
Please forgive me
I love you – I love you as the divine essence you truly are
Thank you – thank you for coming into my life to teach me forgiveness and unconditional love.
And now, on another page or piece of paper, write ACHIEVEMENTS AND GAINS OF 2018. So now, go ahead, write down all the good stuff.
And say a heartfelt prayer of gratitude. Gratitude expands all that you are grateful for.
And next it’s time to contemplate the vision you have for yourself in 2019. On the third page or piece of paper, write down MY VISION FOR 2019. Write down what you’d like to manifest and can I suggest you make sure you cover the following areas:
- Health & Wellbeing
- Career/Work
- Abundance/Money
- Relationships
Close your eyes and visualise already enjoying this manifestation until you are in the FEELING place of it. The feeling is the vibration that will draw this to you.
And now, on the final page or piece of paper, write out your vision as an affirmation. Starting with I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT … write it like you already have it. Keep this affirmation close by your bed such as in your bedside table drawer and say it with conviction every night before you go to bed and every morning when you wake up. Your subconscious mind will go about creating it, but have patience. The Universe always needs time to orchestrate. And expect challenges. They are a necessary part of the creation process. Challenges, if you choose to be conscious and aware, are a healing opportunity to clear something in you that may be blocking the way to having what you desire.
Know that you are so much more than you think you are. You are worthy and deserving of living a fulfilling, prosperous, loving and happy life. In the words of Marianne Williamson:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’
Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Namaste!
And Best Wishes for 2019.
Nicole

For your life to be fulfilling, you must align to your soul. Your soul is the divine essence of you, the part of you that was never born, never dies and is eternal. It is more powerful than you can comprehend. The soul is made up of the spirit (which is intangible) and the material (which is tangible). It is the fabric that represents us. Every soul has a purpose and a mission, and it ultimately runs the show. The sooner we accept that, the better our life will be. We are just visitors passing through, and when we align to what our soul wants, we will know happiness and fulfilment. If we continually ignore what our soul wants, happiness and fulfilment evade us. So how do we align to our soul and know what it wants?
on’t need to respond from the ego. Ego reactions only create further drama, fear and chaos. Through meditation, you become aware that there is a much greater you – the True Self. This Self is connected to the Source and thinks, speaks and acts in love. Love is the vibration that will heal your life – and it’s the ONLY vibration that will heal your life
Why do we sabotage ourselves? And how do we stop? The first step is to understand WHY we do it. On the subconscious level, we limit ourselves for any of the following reasons:
. If you refuse to change yourself or gain any new understandings, those challenges will become greater and greater until you do transform. Challenges are all about our transformation.
